Axence nVision is an integrated IT management and Professional network monitoring software. Network monitoring-related features include network discovery and visualization, monitoring of the network devices (SNMP) operation, monitoring during the Windows machine`s operation through WMI, monitoring of TCP/IP services, etc. Raising of notifications and corrective actions-related alerts are part of the features available. Features offered also include monitoring activity on switch ports, support of SNMP traps, Windows service status monitoring and event log`s maintenance. Hardware configurations and installed software can be discovered including software serial numbers of software from Microsoft. The Pro version can maintain, additionally, history of configuration changes, audit of software, multimedia audit, administrative data collection. Top 10 viewed web sites can be made available. Administrators will be able to monitor user activities and the work time. Application usage monitoring is possible. Network traffic generated could be monitored too.

Network discovery and visualization services let you do network scanning, detection of devices and TCP/IP services, web access with a browser on the server while the nVision console provides interactive network maps, user maps, branches, intelligent maps, pop-up menu with definable own tools. Unlimited number of devices can be monitored. TCP/IP services related response time and correctness, packets received/lost statistics (PING, SMB, HTTP, POP3, SNMP, IMAP, SQL, etc.) can be monitored easily. WMI services related CPU load, memory usage, disk usage, network traffic, etc. data can be made available. SNMP-related data include network traffic, temperature, humidity; power supply voltage, toner level, etc. This is a very good tool.

PROACTIVE NETWORK MONITORING AND VISUALIZATION:

Inventory module automatically collects the hardware and software information of Windows machines. It enables auditing and the verification of license usage and offers information about program installation or configuration change. Administrative and Billing component (i.e. Fixed Assets).
USER ACTIVITY MONITORING:
Users module monitors and reports the activity of users working on Windows machines: the actual activity (work) time, application usage, email monitoring, printout monitoring, visited web pages and network transfer. Blocking websites option.
HELPDESK WITH TROUBLE TICKET DATABASE AND CHAT:
HelpDesk module (incl. trouble ticket database and administrator-user communicator) enables a quick technical support for users by means of remote access to the workstations.
PROTECTION AGAINST DATA LEAKS (BLOCKING PORTS):
DataGuard module manages the access rights for all I/O ports and physical devices utilized by the users to copy files from a company machine or to run external software.
Thanks to the Web Access and remote console features, a number of administrators can have a simultaneous access to the program.
